Hyatt Regency DFW

DFW Airport

Woodbine Development of Dallas hired Chase Collaborative in 2006 to renovate 800 guestrooms and guest corridors at the Hyatt Regency DFW airpor with a completion in 2008.  Hotel guestrooms received all new finishes, custom designed casegoods, furnishings, lighting, window treatment, and artwork.  Interior selections reflect a contemporary business attitude.  Attention was given toward a guest friendly work environment through the use of a desk on casters and plenty of built in outlets in decorative lamps and furniture pieces.

Bath areas are compartmentalized into separate vanity & sink area from the tub & toilet area by using a frosted glass paneled door.  All king rooms were converted to showers with glass enclosurers.  The use of oversized 12 X 24 wall & floor tiles, a bright red accent wall cover along with unique pearlescent glass wall mosaics and glass shelves transformed each bathroom with a fresh updated look.   All bathrooms received new finishes, vanities, mirror, closet doors, artwork, and decorative lighting.

The guest corridors received all new elevator lobby furnishings, finishes, graphics and lighting.  Special attention was placed on the development of a customized axminster carpet design conducive to the architectural curvature of the corridors.
